The short answer

For Uzbekistan, a batch plant of 120–240 t/h with a gas or dual-fuel burner, insulated bitumen system and GOST-UZ certification planned before shipment is the usual choice. A stationary batch plant suits long road programs and city plants; a containerized plant suits contractors moving between regions; a RAP recycling plant suits city resurfacing where milled asphalt is plentiful.

Uzbekistan at a glance for plant buyers

Topic What to know What it means for the plant
Certification National GOST-UZ system; construction machinery generally needs a certificate of conformity Start certification before shipment; we supply technical files
Logistics Landlocked; rail via Kazakhstan or road via Kyrgyzstan Container-sized modules; allow time for borders
Season Paving concentrated in the warmer months Output headroom; fast installation
Climate Hot, dry summers; cold winters Insulation, heating for winter, cooled control room
Fuel Natural gas widely used; diesel and fuel oil elsewhere Gas or dual-fuel burner
Power 50 Hz, 380/220 V 50 Hz motors and controls
Language Uzbek and Russian on site Interpreter; Russian-language interface where available

Certification: GOST-UZ, not EAC

Uzbekistan is not a member of the Eurasian Customs Union, so an EAC mark is not accepted as proof of conformity. The national standards agency runs the GOST-UZ system, and construction machinery is generally on the list of products needing mandatory certification. Certificates can be issued for a single batch or for serial production, with batch certification usually faster.

Plan it like this:

  1. Appoint an accredited certification body or agent early
  2. We provide technical files, drawings, component lists and test records
  3. Certification is completed for the consignment before or at import, as required
  4. The certificate accompanies the customs declaration

Rules change, so confirm the current requirement for your plant before it ships.

Getting the plant there

From China, the main options are:

Route How Notes
Rail through Kazakhstan Containers by rail via crossings such as Khorgos or Alashankou Common for heavy cargo; transshipment at the gauge change
Road through Kyrgyzstan Trucks via mountain passes Check height and weight limits on passes
Multimodal Sea to a port, then rail Rarely faster for Central Asia

Containerized modules suit all routes. Get the packing list early and check the heaviest and widest items against rail and road limits.

A short season: plan for output

Paving in Uzbekistan is concentrated in the warmer months. Every day lost to late delivery, slow installation or breakdowns is hard to recover, so:

  • Size the plant with 20–30% headroom over the average daily need
  • Ship so the plant is installed and commissioned before the season starts
  • Keep a first-year wear-parts stock on site — parts shipped in mid-season arrive late
  • Consider a containerized plant for faster installation and relocation

Climate: hot summers, cold winters

Season Risk Configuration
Summer Heat in control room and cabinets Air-conditioned control room, ventilated cabinets
Spring and autumn Cold mornings, slow heat-up Insulated drum shell, insulated bitumen tanks and pipes
Winter (idle) Freezing of water and fuel lines; condensation Drain procedures, cabinet heaters, winter storage plan

Most plants stop for winter; a proper shutdown and restart procedure protects the burner, baghouse and bitumen system.

Fuel: use gas where you can

Natural gas is widely used in Uzbekistan. Where a connection is available, a gas burner is clean, low-maintenance and avoids fuel storage. For sites without gas, a dual-fuel burner (gas and diesel or fuel oil) gives flexibility.

Which plant type for which project

Project Suggested plant
Republican road program, long corridor RMX-B160–B240 stationary batch, gas burner
Regional contracts moving every 1–3 years RMX-C120 or RMX-C160 containerized batch
City resurfacing with steady milling RMX-R120 or RMX-R160 with RAP drum
District roads, one standard mix RMX-D80 or RMX-D120 drum mix

Indicative prices are in the price guide.

How Roadmixa supports projects in Uzbekistan

We support customers in Uzbekistan from China: configuration review, technical files for certification, engineers on site for installation supervision, commissioning and training, and remote help by phone, WhatsApp and video. Training is in English with your interpreter; ask us about Russian-language interface options. Spare parts ship by rail or air. We do not have an office in Uzbekistan.

What to include in your inquiry

  1. Output per hour and per day; mix types and standards in the contract
  2. Region and site, and the preferred route (rail or road)
  3. Gas connection available, or other fuel
  4. Paving season dates and the planned start
  5. How long the plant stays at each site
  6. Who will handle certification and customs

Send your project details.
